CCC Pastel Joy

 Hi there and welcome back to my blog. My header today is Virginia bluebells. A wonderful native! I love this time of the year in the yard when all the Spring ephemerals are blooming!

This is the last card for Christmas Craft Creations, as they are going on a break for now. This month we are looking for non-traditional colors. 

In-keeping with the Spring ephemeral/pastel mode, I decided to make my ornaments from a cheerful designer paper pad.

I cut out three of the papers from the pack, and used another as the background, with the Memory Box bauble and a purple cardstock as a back-up to the ornate bauble.

I glued the ornate bauble on top of the purple base.

Both baubles were glued down.

The "bird bauble" was added with foam adhesive pads for more dimension. A line of Copic marker was added as the string.

"Joy" was die cut and then glued on to the bottom right corner.

An organdy ribbon was tied in a bow to finish off the card!

HAI Christmas Decorations box

 Hi there and welcome back to my blog! Today I'm sharing a card that I made for the Holly and Ivy Challenge, which as always is an Anything Goes theme.

I went back to the card kit that I had got with a magazine some time ago, which along with several coordinated papers had some extra cut out images with it too. 

I started with fussy cutting the 2nd image, and then built up on top of it with the subsequent images, using glue and foam pads to attach the pieces on top of one another.

 It does look pretty good in person, however the photos don't do it justice! I continued building it up.

Once the image was done, I added a self-adhesive sentiment and a few random stars to the front panel, which was then layered to a white card base.

A gold ribbon was added to the spine of the card to finish off.

CCC Baubled Season Greetings

 Hi there and welcome back to my blog!

Today I have a card for the Christmas Craft Creations Challenge, where this month they would like to see creations using designer paper.

I had an old pack of coordinated papers that I had received with a magazine some years ago, and decided to pair that up with a set of bauble die cuts from Spellbinders.

I cut out several of the baubles from different papers. 

I die cut the biggest bauble from the center of the second sheet of dp, which let the base sheet show through. 

I built up the baubles using the die cuts and foam tape and added a piece of copper thread as the hangers to the back of the base layer of desgner paper, before layering that to a white card base.

The gold Season's Greetings adhesive sticker was added to the center of the bauble, with the smallest bauble being added below.

Some more copper thread was tied to the spine of the card to finish it off. Please join in the challenge with us!
